Applying to Performing & Visual Arts
Students who wish to complete an expression of interest application form for one of the PVA programs must also complete an audition, interview or portfolio review and interview with one of our PVA staff.
PVA Application season: November - January
The initial round of applications will close January 16. After that date, you are invited to submit a late application digital form and wait to hear from one of our staff about an audition, interview, or portfolio review, pending space in the program.
The CBE High School Transfer Request for students hoping to transfer to Central Memorial High School for the Performing & Visual Arts (PVA) program closes on March 15th.
Non- Designated students who apply to PVA after March 15th will go on a waitlist until we know the enrolment projections for our school population sometime in the late spring. We encourage late applicants to complete the application process outlined below, in case we have room at the school for next year.
Designated students can apply to PVA until June of each year because they are not required to complete the CBE High School Transfer Request.

Step 4
After you have applied, interviewed/auditioned for the program, teachers will give you instructions on how to complete a CBE High School Transfer Request (only between Feb 15 - March 15th each year) and/or a course selection form for CMHS.
