Good Evening Parents, Caregivers, Students and Guardians,

Welcome to Term 4 (second half of Semester 2) in our school year. Now is a great time to review goals and set targets with your student(s) both academically and personally. Simple academic goals could be participating in a tutorial offered once per week.

Personal goal setting is equally important in a student’s time in high school. As indicated in the CBE’s Well-Being Framework (pg. 14), creating connectedness with healthy relationships in schools leads to improved learning and engagement. One way to do that is for students to participate in one of the many extra-curricular activities that Central Memorial offers.

With that in mind, come cheer on the spring sports that are now underway:

  • Badminton
  • Girls Field Hockey
  • Boys Soccer
  • Track & Field

It is also not too late to help out with athletics and we currently need community coaches for Track & Field. If you or someone you know is able to volunteer their time to help these awesome athletes, please contact our Athletics Department at the school.

And if you are not available now, but are thinking about next year, we are also looking for additional volunteer coaches for Track & Field, Boys Soccer, and Badminton in the 2025-2026 year.

Have a great weekend,

Jerry Mah, Assistant Principal P-Z

(on behalf of the Central Memorial Administration)
