Good Evening CMHS Parents, Caregivers, Students and Guardians,

Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting our PVA Open House, an evening dedicated to showcasing the exceptional Performing and Visual Arts program here at CMHS. It was inspiring to listen to our PVA Director and Learning Leader Michelle Crimmins, alongside Assistant Principal Brian Cheney, as they spoke with such passion about each of our programs and proudly proclaimed that CMHS is “the best school in the universe!” Their enthusiasm truly reflects what makes our school community so special.

As I visited classrooms throughout the evening, it was wonderful to see so many of our students present, supporting their teachers, performing, and sharing their artwork. Their pride in their learning was evident in every conversation. We were also fortunate to meet many prospective students and families who asked thoughtful questions and were eager to learn more about what CMHS has to offer.

One student I met shared that he hopes to become a neuroscientist but is also deeply interested in our PVA Choral program. I was thrilled to explain how, through our Advanced Placement offerings and diverse program pathways, students at CMHS can pursue a wide range of interests without limitation. This ability to explore passion and purpose in multiple areas is a true gift for all of our students, and it is incredibly rewarding to watch them discover where they thrive.

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation to our teachers. Their expertise, talent, and unwavering commitment are what make programs like PVA possible. Teachers are the heartbeat of a school. They shape futures through their care, their relationships with students, and their deep love for their disciplines. We are very fortunate to have such dedicated educators here at CMHS.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our school community. Have a wonderful weekend. Warm regards,

Anne Kromm Principal
